You Don't Have to Navigate This Alone

Confidential, compassionate support for survivors of sex trafficking—offering a space where your experiences are recognized and understood. We are committed to fostering awareness, encouragement, and a sense of solidarity so you are not alone as you move forward.

How It Works

We keep the process simple and pressure-free. You move at your own pace, and we adjust to what you need.

Step 1: Reach Out to LONA

The first step is making contact. Email us, call us directly, or have someone you trust reach out on your behalf. This initial conversation is confidential. You don't need to share your full story. Just let us know you're looking for support, and we'll take it from there.

Step 2: Initial Conversation

We'll schedule a time to talk, either by phone or in person, whatever feels most comfortable. During this conversation, our advocacy team will listen, answer your questions, and learn about your situation so we can understand how to help. There is no pressure and no obligation.

Step 3: Personalized Support PlaN

Based on your needs, our team puts together a support plan tailored to your situation. This could include connecting you with community resources, helping you navigate legal or social services, safety planning, or ongoing check-ins. You decide what feels right.

Step 4: Ongoing Advocacy

This is not a one-time service. Our team stays with you for as long as you need support. Whether that means weekly check-ins, help with appointments, or simply having someone in your corner, we are here. Your advocate and survivor leader work together to make sure you're never doing this alone.

What We Can Help With

Every situation is different. Here are some of the ways our advocacy team supports survivors.

Resource Navigation

We connect you with local and statewide resources, including housing assistance, legal aid, counseling, medical services, and financial support programs. We help you understand your options and, when needed, we make those calls with you.

Safety Planning

If safety is a concern, we work with you to create a plan that fits your circumstances. This may include coordinating with law enforcement, connecting with shelters, or identifying trusted people in your network who can provide support.

Emotional Support

Sometimes what you need most is someone who listens without judgment. Our survivor leader brings lived experience, and our advocate brings professional training. Together, they provide a space where you can process, ask questions, and breathe.

Systems NavigatioN

Legal systems, social services, and bureaucratic processes can feel overwhelming, especially during a crisis. Our team helps you understand what's happening, what your rights are, and what steps come next. We go with you to appointments when you want us there.

Take the First Step

When you're ready, we're here. Reach out through our contact form, call us directly, or ask someone you trust to connect with us on your behalf. There's no wrong way to start.
